A trip to the Tropical Rain Forest.

We went to the tropical rain forest today, and the children saw quite an array of lovely creatures. Unfortunately the camera battery went dead, so we did not capture the children handling the large stick insects, crocs and snakes.

A tiny tortoise, whom Eden name Trotty.

A water dragon. Eden was desperate to hold all the creatures, and Niamh wasn't a bit scared and also grabbed the chance to handle all of them.

A ferret.

The children also draped king snakes around their necks, and Eden tried to persuade the staff to allow her to walk around unsupervised with it. Eden's other career choice is to be a Jungle explorer/artist, so she was in her element. Jude really enjoyed the close up with all the animals and reptiles and did not stop talking about it all day, until bedtime.
