New Forest Camping trip part 2

After we came back from the parkrun, we got our costumes on and headed straight to the pool, it was really hot and cooling down was a lovely idea.  Eden, Niamh and Jude really enjoyed the freedom they had on this holiday.  At first Eden was really disappointed because she thought we were going to be camping rough and in the country, she didn't expect to be in quite such a built resort, but once she was over that disappointment they had a lot of fun riding their bikes all around on their own, and just being away from us and going to the shops to buy their own things.

Emily came swimming with us, it was so lovely to have someone for Eden to play with too, Niamh gets on really well with Emily too, and Emily is very sweet with little chidren like Ciara and Ayla, she loves spending time with them.

The outdoor pool was not heated, so the big girls headed into the indoor pool.  I couldn't even sit in there, it was like sitting in a steam room, way too hot.

The last shot I got at the pool before I was asked to put the camera away by the lifeguard.  I had a lovely swim, it was nice and cold, just what we needed to cool off.

Later in the day we had a combined meal with the Russells, they had a great little private garden next to their tent.  By this time Evan had picked up a bit of a bug, and he had been sick, so he lay on the duvet in the corner and rested a bit.

The kids had loads of fun playing football with their cousins and Aunt.

There was a playground across from Grant's tent and the children spent a lot of time there too.

The skies felt like we were in the mediterranean, such a beautiful perfect blue.

At night we sat chatting till quite late with the rest of our friends that we went with, kids were in bed and it was lovely to have some wine, chocolate and a chat.  One of the men John had been out mountain biking in the area, and so he drew me a map of a nice 10km ride he had done which he said would be lovely for a run, so I studied it, took a photo of it and was ready to go running early Sunday morning.
