It was a lovely sunny day for Ciara's party, in fact every year since her birth we have had a sunny day on her birthday, not as warm as last year's 28 degrees, but pleasant enough to sit outside and have a bbq. It really occured to me on the morning of the party how easy the whole party preparation is with two big sisters and a big brother who are very willing to help. Eden and Niamh did a lot of the food, as well as party games organization and all the decorating with balloons. Jude did a lot of the cleaning inside and outside.
The happy birthday girl who has been counting down her birthday for a loooong time.
It was so lovely to have my mom and Uncle Peter over at the same time too, this is the second birthday party of Ciara's that my mom has been in the UK for.
And so lovely to have our family to share the day with us.

It was a yummy bbq with boerewors and cheese griller sausages.
And then time for the cake, Ciara had asked for a dolphin cake.

I was quite pleased with the sweets table, 90% of the sweet things where completely healthy, now to figure out how to make a healthy birthday cake.
