Dad and Mom make a good cake making team, we have so much fun creating these cakes together the night before.
As always all the children get so excited to come down and see the cake, and this year Ciara got caught up in all the excitement too.
And daddy reads her favourite book, "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" - the page that she keeps going back to again and again is "naughty Goldilocks who broke the chair".
Paul and Mike finish off the braaing. I had prayed for lovely weather all week, so thank you Lord for a beautiful sunny "end of summers" day, it was so relaxing spending the whole day outside.

All the sweets were a big hit, and every last one was finished - the first time we had absolutely no leftovers.
The kids stared at the sweets for a few minutes until we sang "Happy Birthday" and they could eat.

Wow that is great, what a lovley bunny, did you make it all by yourselves.....very creative.
