Boxing Day Monday was a great start to our post Christmas holidays. The weather was warmish, and there was a special 5km park run happening at a few park runs around the country. We went to the Black Park run as there was no run happening at our local one, and it was a great opportunity to see what is supposed to be one of the nicest park runs too.
Conditions were rather wet and muddy, but the run itself was through such lovely woodland. The pic above is the final stretch to the end, my trainers were wrecked after this.
Niamh was really excited to get to use her new bike for the first time, and of course they all just loved being out in the open.
We stopped by this "leaf seat" for a photoshoot with the two little ones.
Such cutie pies, Ayla was just so happy to be out and running, it really is her favourite thing at the moment.
And she also loves to be thrown in the air, she will say to daddy, "please can I fly", and that means she wants him to throw her high in the air.
No fear.

And then of course daddy loves messing around and having fun with the kids.
And they love exploring, what a lovely start to the week.
