Christmas music concert

The children always look forward to their year end music concert, they enjoy playing and seeing their friends perform too. The concert was in a new venue and what a treat it was, a properly restored Victorian theatre, it was splendid and felt very grand.

Niamh played a piece by P.Martini, well done for memorising such a long piece Niamh! The teacher is so pleased with her progress, and she got many compliments for her playing.

This was Jude's first concert and he did really well, he has taken to the violin fantastically and now says he likes the violin more than maths, which is really saying something for Jude.

Eden played her cello really sweetly, it is lovely to see her progress too.

And finally was Eden on piano. Unfortunately Eden had worked herself up with nerves quite a bit before we had even left for the concert, and even though she had performed this piece without any mistakes at her homeschooling concert a few days earlier, her nerves got the better of her and she made a few mistakes. You can still get the sense of her playing though, and her progress from last year definitely comes through, well done Eden.

Hi Eden, Niamh and Jude,

It was wonderful seeing and listening to you all perform so beautifuly at your concert. You have all made so much progress.
It would have been so much better to be there, but I am grateful for
video recording.

Love you all, Nana. xxx
