Niamh turns 7!!
This is not Niamh's official birthday cake, she will get that on her party day but we had stopped by the cake shop so I had a few things to make a cake for us to share on her birthday.
She was so pleased to see it in the morning.
Nana Norma gave her a real medical kit, not the play play ones that you get from the toy shop.
A real stethoscope, we had lots of fun listening to each other's heart beats, it was so sweet to hear the baby's heart, and to hear that it was so much faster than the rest of ours. Nana also gave her a book on Ancient Rome.
Opening her main present from Daddy and Mommy.
A playmobil Ancient Egypt set.
Then they got on the computer to play the dvd that came with her medical set.
Tea time and time to sing Happy Birthday and have some cake.
Ciara loves birthdays, cakes, presents and singing so she had to get in on the action.
Ciara eyeing out the candles, little did we know of her plans to blow them all out, which she did as soon as the song stopped, she got every single candle out in milliseconds. We had to light them again with warnings to Ciara not to blow them out, which she agreed that she would do.
And Niamh gets to blow them out, but we had to chuckle at the candle on the left - you can see by the direction of the flame that Ciara had another go.
It took the better part of the morning to build the pyramid - it was filled with secret rooms and trap doors and sliding doors.
The girls and Jude haven't stopped playing with it since - when I asked Niamh if she liked her present, she just said "Oh mommy, it is wonderful". It is so nice to have a toy that brings them all together in imaginary play so much and educational too - I think the next set Eden will ask for is Ancient Rome.
Another part of the Egyptian scene, a desert home - the girls loved being able to build this one completely by themselves.

Fiona that candle shot is too good. Ciara Cuddles caught not red handed, but red lipped by the camera.
They all look great.
Love Dad
