The lovely thing about Mike being home after my op is that we were able to get out once I had spent a few days in bed and enjoy the sunshine.
This is an enclosure in Bushy Park that has a little cafe where you can stop and have a coffee or a bite to eat while enjoying the more manicured area of Bushy Park.

Another day we ended up in the play area in Bushy Park, Ayla had her first experience with sand in the huge sandpit. They have recently put brand new sand in, it was really lovely to feel and touch, and Ayla loved it, unlike the others she never tried to put it in her mouth.
The big children were not too old to get in and enjoy it too.
Eden and Niamh just dug huge holes.
At one stage Ciara just ran away from us, when I found where she had run to she was already coming down the big slide without even anyone there to watch her, amazing how she has no fear to come down here by herself. After she came down I witnessed a hilarious thing. A middle aged lady had been watching her daughter come down the slide and finally she couldn't contain herself any longer she had to have a go herself. She got to the top and sat down. She did not tuck her long white cotton skirt under her bottom, but instead plonked herself down with her skirt around and then she pushed herself down looking forward to the fast trip down, except she didn't go anywhere because her legs and thighs were making her stick to the steel, instead of fixing her skirt or getting up and moving out the way she pushed herself down inch by inch as her legs made loud rude noises against the metal, it took ages for her to get down and everyone was watching, she was bright red and her daughter was shouting at her to get her skirt under her so she would go down swiftly, but instead she pushed herself down bit by bit to get the the bottom. One of those moments where you would love to laugh but really daren't.
And then the children got a chance to feed the deer some yummy lime leaves. They eat all the bottom leaves until eventually they cannot reach the leaves anymore.
So the girls pulled the branch down so she could have a good munch.
