Double Birthday for Eden and Jude

We have been ooming and aahing about what to do for Eden and Jude's party. I wasn't in the mood for a big home party, and the children were thinking of things like gokarting, but when we went to Hampton Pool on a whim the weekend before we had such a fantastic time that the children asked for a pool party. I looked at the weather forecast for the next seven days and sun was forecasted so instead of waiting for their birthday weekend, we made it the weekend before. The day started with a bit of rain, and then cleared up. so by the time we got there it was not busy at all.

Aunty Linda got right in with the kids, providing much fun by throwing the boys around.

They had a lot of fun on this big float, doing jumps and back flips off of it.
Lydia and Eden in the deepend playing games of going down and walking on the floor and who can hold their breath for the longest, I remember playing the same games growing up.
Then it was time to tuck into the party food. It was great having the outdoor tables to be able to sit down at.

Some of you may be confused about what this cake is, but it is one of the characters from the angry bird game, all the kids love this game. Even though it was one of our easiest, we did need an easy one to transport to the pool, and my oven was broken too so I couldn't be too adventurous.

We had such a good laugh when Ayla turned her attention to Jared, she was fascinated with him and was examining his mouth.

The children then got back in to swim some more, they must've swum about 3 hours in all, they were certainly exhausted that night but they all agreed it was their best party ever, they all love swimming so much I think that is why ;-)
