The plan B cake
Although we didn't initially have a plan B for the cake, I had to think up one quickly. I baked another vanilla and chocolate cake but unfortunately I no longer had the various tin sizes so had to make do with the ones I have. The shape of the cake was therefore not what I hoped for but still we were just glad to come up with a new cake.

Glad you managed to make another cake in time. It is beautiful, and I am sure the birthday gal was just as delighted.
