Holiday to Spain - Day 2 and 3
The next two days we stayed at the finca(a small country property), I think both Mike and I just needed this to unwind and relax, and sure enough by day 3 we already felt really rested.
The view to the main house once you come away from the river.

The terrace where we had breakfast and dinner.
Eden is trying out a new fruit that we have never tried before, I am not sure how it is spelt but it sounds like "Niespara", it is quite unlike anything we have ever tried before, they are exceptionally sweet, and were great to snack on throughout the day. They had a huge fresh supply on their tree.
It did not take long for Penny to realize that the girls were very eager to help, here she has Eden squeezing oranges and tangerines. They also helped prepare the salad most nights, and helped pick potatoes and lemons for the dinners each night, as well as clearing and setting the table each night, and running errands all over the property for her. They also took the dogs for a walk, and continually played frisbee with them to keep them exercised. All in all the girls were very entertained and not bored for a minute.
Eating breakfast the healthy way, lots of fresh fruit.
Cherry face.
Having fun swimming in the river.
Penny gave the children two nets to use at the river. Niamh especially would stand in the water for ages trying to catch the living things in the water(fish, tadpoles, water boatmen, various insects and crabby type creatures).
I love this photo of Jude, he seems to be so absorbed in something.
Penny thought Ciara might prefer to play in a container rather than the river, but we ended up using it as a boat.

Ciara instantly loved this doggy(whose name is Salchicha - Spanish for sausage) not least of all because he had such lovely soft ears. She used his ears as she would her blanky because she loves the feel of softness against her face - fortunatley he did not seem to mind.
Eden and Niamh enjoyed swinging in the hammock next to the yurt.
