Brownie Camp

Niamh was so excited to go on her first Brownie Camp. It was meant to be a 2 night camp, but I only booked them for one night, they arrived Friday and came home late Saturday night. We all went to pick them up from the camp, which was set in a lovely woodland area covered in bluebells.

This was 8:30 at night, it was such a sunny and warm day. These are the girl guide tents - they had to build their own tents and campfires. The Brownies stayed in wood cabins, and the Rainbows(the 6-7 year olds) only came for the day.
The girls had a great time. The camp was to celebrate 100 years of Girl Guides, and Saturday was packed full of activities, they climbed with a harness, did an obstacle course, built a campfire, sang songs and had local talks by people in the services like policemen.

It looks a lovely camp site too.

Lots of love from nana.
