The Royal Military School of Music
We were fortunate enough to get a place to go and watch the RMSM through our local home educating group. There was a lovely atmosphere there when we arrived with all the soldiers out in full uniform ushering us in.
The intro was a lovely melody of tunes from Mary Poppins to Winnie the Pooh to Star Wars. It was so sweet when Ciara recognized the tunes and got excited.
And then the main show was Robin Hood and his merry men. Robin Hood was ever so funny and the music was fantastic.
At the end they had the Royal Military singers on, and all the band members came down to chat and mingle with the crowd.

Ayla did not cope very well with the cheers from the crowd and everytime the whole crowd cheered she got the fright of her life and cried the most upset little cry. Ciara tried to cover her ears to protect her from the noise.
At the end there was a lot of dancing, so the children got involved in a train.

Hi,
I am happy for the children to be able to have the experience of good music. Wonderful that Ciara can recognise tunes so well.
Lovely,
mom.
