Boxing Day

I woke this morning feeling really rotten, so dosed up on garlic and took some paracetamol. Jude was excited about riding his bike so we headed off for a long walk in Bushy Park. The temperature was about 10 deg celsius so felt quite a bit warmer than it has been and it didn't take long for the children to start heating up with their coats on so off they came.
All 3 away on their bikes in no time.
Mike and I grabbed a cappucino and just enjoyed the relaxing walk.

Jude on his bike - we haven't taken the training wheels of this bike as it is quite a bit heavier and bigger than his last, so though it would benefit from him getting a feel for the new bike before taking these training wheels off.
Finally we managed to get Ciara back in her pushchair, everyone was getting hungry and so we wanted to hurry the walk along a bit towards the end.

What a surprise it was to see that the water was iced over in so many places - the children enjoyed throwing sticks onto the ice.
