It is so nice that I can tie all of Ciara's hair into a sweet little pony tail now, it makes her look a lot neater too. PS Grandad Jim, she still has her fringe over one eye look after bath time :D
Niamh and Jude went to their Thursday night club Christmas Party at church tonight, and came home in very high spirits, they must've had a lot of fun.For our Jesse Tree reading and decoration today, we did Noah and the Flood:
The Flood[Jesus said,] “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the
angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. As were the
days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in
those days before the flood they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered
the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept
them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of man. … Watch
therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.”
Niamh and Jude made their rainbows out of plasticine, not exactly the right colours but you can see it is a rainbow.
Jude did a drawing of The Flood. These first drawings of his are so special to me and really make me smile, he has of course being drawing simple things for a while, but he is now gaining more confidence to try different pictures.
Eden's drawing - she is so self critical of her own drawings, and refused to believe that the Ark had the right perspective no matter how many times I told her it was great(although I don't think the waves would've been that high :-)
