Making Christmas presents and more decorations

We have decided to make small gifts of fudge for Christmas this year, I can't think of anyone who doesn't like fudge, and it is a nice gesture too for the children to give their teachers and friends.
Of course the kids love to get involved.
And then scrape out the lasts of the condensed milk - the best part.
Our first batch so far, thanks to Belinda Buckland for this quick and excellent microwave recipe it won't take us long to do all the presents.

Joseph - God's Providence

Yes, a dreadful thing happened to Joseph when he was sold by his brothers to slave traders in Egypt, but he could say:

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20
Again, it was lovely to compare Joseph's life to that of our Lord's. He was sent from his fathers house, as was Jesus. He was sold for silver to the slave traders, and so was Jesus sold for silver pieces in his betrayal. He was punished(put in jail) for doing nothing wrong, as was Jesus who was crucified though He was innocent. What was done to Joseph was meant for evil by his brothers, but God meant it for good. Satan and many bad people put Jesus on the cross, and it was an evil act, but God used everything for the good. Jesus died to forgive the sins of the whole world!!!

Jude made this coat of many colours from glitter glue, this is really going to make the tree sparkle.

Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: “I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 28v12-14

Quite a tricky craft, as the ladder was more a stairway than a ladder. We decided to do an accordian type design out of paper. Eden didn't agree that it looked like a stairway, but at least the children learnt a new skill :)
Jude managed to get the hang of it too.
