Michael couldn't wait to unwrap his present on his birthday so he got it the night before. He has been wanting one for a while, it is a sony ebook reader - thousands of books can be loaded onto the reader so no more books taking up precious book shelf space!!

I asked Michael if he would like a carrot cake, chocolate cake or chocolate mousse cake and he went for the chocolate mousse cake. This was my first attempt at a chocolate mousse cake, thanks Belinda for the recipe!!!
It was lovely to have daddy home for lunch so we could share his cake with him.
The birthday card that the children made him in the background, Eden drew the dragon because she knows how much daddy likes fantasy novels, and since we are reading the Hobbit together as a family at the moment.
The layers of chocolate mousse inside the cake, very rich and very yummy.
