Clapham Common kids run 2km

Eden and Niamh ran their first kids race today. On the way there the weather looked quite bad, and was raining, I don't think Niamh felt much like running when she got out the car. But once we got to the registration there was a really nice atmosphere going, and once registered the girls got given a t-shirt which was cool.
umm I think I will have to grow into this one...
Jude in his rain jacket, it wasn't raining to hard, and it cleared within a few minutes.

And Niamh finishes, as she comes through the man announced that she is the first girl, well done Niamh.
We all had a good laugh at Eden's finish, the boy in the picture try to pip her right at the end, but as soon as she noticed she picked up her pace and wasn't going to let him beat her.
And she finishes just in front, well done Eden!
What a lovely morning, the girls finished and got medals and a goody bag which made the run sooo worth it. Jude saw the goody bag and is determined to run the next one so he can have a goody bag too. The distance is not too far, but Niamh again felt it, she ran quite a lot faster than her 5km race and did a very nice time.
