Christmas day celebrations
This year we were smaller in number because Lana, James and children were in South Africa, so it was just Grant and Linda, Ethan and Julia and us. We had a lovely day together, Linda prepared half the meal (a leg of lamb, roast potatoes and a delectable chocolate mousse cake) whilst I made two chicken roasts, the veges, and Christmas cake, and real SA Kahlua Don Pedros for pudding(for a nice change). We had more than enough with plenty leftover for the rest of the week.

Everything ready the night before.
The children slept until 8 o'clock (probably the only children in the UK to sleep so late on Christmas day) and were so excited to open their pressies once they were awake.
Niamh was elated to get Prince Caspian dvd as one of her gifts (she got the first one last Christmas).
Jude giving Ciara a helping hand to open her presents.
Jude with his radio controlled car.
Jude got some great "boys toys" this year, but that didn't stop Eden and Niamh from getting some fun out of this car assembly toy too.
Mike being vain.

The last minute touches.
Waiting for the family to arrive.
The cousins exchanging presents.
