Niamh playing twinkle twinkle little star on violin

It has taken Niamh nearly two months of working on technique (bow string hold, how to hold violin, how to move the bow properly etc) to get to playing this tune. The violin is definitely not an instrument that one can start and quickly play a tune like the piano, it takes a lot of technique to get right, but Niamh looooves her violin teacher and she is really motivated to carry on. The lovely thing is that Niamh will be playing a piece over the next few months called Minuet 1 by Bach, and you can see Eden playing that tune on the blog entry above, so soon Niamh will be able to accompany Eden on piano.
