Conversations with Ciara

Over the past few weeks Ciara has really started having conversations with us. I think she is so desperate to talk like her siblings that she is trying so hard. She will speak for a long time, a lot of it is just baby language but it will be interspersed with the words that she knows and she is always trying to ask us something or show and tell us something. The other day she came up to me speaking a lot of gobbly gook in earnestness, but the words in between that came out were "more naartjie for the Kiki doo", it took her a good few seconds to relay what she wanted to in conversation style, but was so pleased that she had. On another occasion the children had just woken in the morning and I said to them loudly from my room, "Did you see the new grass that daddy laid down", and Ciara replied, "Daddy is Michael, where is daddy, daddy is gone, gone to work", so she is understanding a lot of what is going on around her.

Hello Ciara,
It is so good to see you walking and talking, you are getting so big.

Lovely to see you all enjoying Kew Gardens, I still remember our lovely time there.

Miss you lots.
Nana.
