A bit of team brainstorming and Mike and I came up with the idea of adding another flowerbed in the garden. Michael put in the wood logpile border, and I planted 32 flowers in the bed - petunias picked by Niamh, and marigolds picked by Eden. We look forward to the extra colour in the garden in the summer.
Michael built a raised bed for our vegetable garden. I think it is 2.2mx1.2m but apparently you can plant the vegetables a lot closer in a raised vegetable bed so it will be interesting to see how many vegetables it will yield. You can see it to the left of the slide.

That looks like a good idea, lovely having a pretty garden, also growing your own veges.
