Ayla is 1!!

You came into this world 1 year ago, and filled our hearts with even more joy and love. You have brought so much happiness to your mom and dad, your three sisters and brother. We have loved to see you grow and change so much in this one year. You smiled in your first two weeks, and you haven't stopped since. You were on the move from young, and didn't want to wait till the normal 8 months to crawl but started pushing yourself around at 5 months. You sat up in your 6 month by yourself, and at 11 months 3 weeks you started to walk. You are talking so much now, I can't believe the words you are trying to say. Just today in church you said the word disaster(well more like d'sasta)after you heard one of the ladies say it. You were trying your best to say birthday today and chocolate even though these are the first times you are really hearing these words. You have said lots of words, but the most common are:
daddy, jude, edie for eden, didi for blanket, hug, kiss, boop for book, up (for upstairs), bed, men (for amen), mama, pepi (our cleaner), yumyum for food, a-la for ayla, duck, cat, dirtee, poo poo, toes, shoes, woof for dog, bed, jesus (from when we sing away in a manger), star(when we sing twinkle twinkle), pee boo for peekaboo, hello, bye bye.
Shew that is all that mommy can remember right now.
You loooove books, you are so inquisitive and want to find out what is in every cupboard and every corner of the house. You are always on the move and always busy about something. You enjoy swimming in the float in the swimming pool, and love bopping your body to music. You love banging away on the piano especially when your big sisters sit with you on the piano.
You came into this world in the most beautiful and relaxed way, mom and dad were so very blessed to be the only ones there when you were born, it was an experience too amazing to believe. A few minutes after you were born your big sisters came into the room and were able to see you before the umbilical cord was even cut. They thought you were so beautiful and I am grateful they could see that babies can be born without fear and in a relaxed environment.
