Footloose

Ayla's left foot has been concerning us over the past few weeks. You cannot see clearly in this photo, but her left foot points inwards, and she twists it more inwards in than looks normal. Mike and his sister Lise were both born with feet in and needed orthapaedics to correct it, so it looked like something hereditary. The paediatrician saw her this week and could see the problem straightaway and was more than a little confused that it hadn't been picked up in her early days paediatrician and doctor's checks. After a few tests however he established that the bones were not malformed and that she has the ability to put it straight, but possibly she has just had it that way in the womb or she prefers to hold it like that, so we have been given some physio exercises to do with her three times a day to keep it from going stiff when pushed in the right position and when she starts walking it should straighten out normally.
