The schools are off this week, so Niamh had a friend over to play. I said they could make a chocolate cake all by themselves and decorate it too, as we still have a lot of decorations left over from our 90th. Simone is such a lovely mannered child, it is such a pleasure to have her around.
They loved doing the whole thing themselves.
Decorating the cake, they even made the icing and spread it on themselves(although I did a quick tidy up of the icing before they put the decorations on).
The finished cake. Can you believe Simone is 4 months younger than Niamh. Niamh visited her on the very first week she was born(I wish I had a photo of that).
