A bit later we all got a nasty shock as one of the owners dogs(a border collie) went for Ayla. He nipped her face, but thankfully she only had very superficial teeth marks, one under her eye and two above her forehead, he had taken a nip at half her face. This is such an answer to prayer, as I have prayed so much for her that the Lord would protect her when we cannot and that He would help us to be vigilant around her. I was shaken up badly when I realized how bad it could have been, one bite can rip a babies face terribly. Ayla is a child who is always on the go, hardly stops or keeps still unless she has missed her morning sleep. She kept us all on our toes the whole weekend, and still suffered many many bumps, falls, bruises and grazes from all her climbing and exploring antics, in fact by the end of the weekend she looked quite battered and bruised, but she was still happy nonetheless.
Lindsey, Tracy and I stayed behind at the yurts while the rest when out alpacca yomping. Tracy was feeling horrible from morning sickness and Linds and I had to stay with our sleeping babes.
