Making fortune cookies

It is funny how one often just takes something for granted. In this instance that the Chinese invented fortune cookies. I thought it would be fun for us to make our own, but upon looking for a recipe I discovered that the Chinese did not come up with them at all, it was and American who started selling them in a Chinese food place and so they caught on and are now always associated with Chinese food. We still decided to make them anyway as it seemed like good fun.
The biscuits are very runny, so that when they are baked they are very bendable. A fortune is placed inside, the cookie folded on itself.
And then placed over a cup to shape it into a fortune cookie shape.
The children had lots of fun "reading their fortunes"!
