And then outside for a go on the Penny-farthing. Many of the mums were musing over the stupidity of the design of the bike, but I figured there was a good reason for the design - probaly because there was no chain, and a quick search on the internet revealed that larger front wheels, up to 1.5 m in diameter, enabled higher speeds on bicycles limited to direct drive(no belt, chain or gears). But it must've been a whopper of a fall when they came off on one of these things.

And Niamh.
Eden then discovered the dress up corner, and was in her element.
And they even had a working dial phone, wow does that bring back memories. I showed them how it worked, unbelievable that this was how we used a phone.

Ayla chuffed that she was finally allowed down, and headed straight for the ladder.

After the tour was over, we went around ourselves a bit. Spot the Hawker in the background, the pilot was involved in a crash with it, hence why it is so patched together.
This MG reminded me of the one my dad and mum owned when I was little.
