Art week, something new, and friends and cousins over

Eden has done quite a bit of work on shading and light sources, so this is just going over what she already knows with different mediums. This is a course I bought years ago, and she was ecstatic to open it and see all the different art supplies.
She has started with crayon and markers, and made pictures that show how the light alters the shades of colour.

Aunty Linda passed on some sardines a while ago, and the children have been begging to try them, so this week they had sardines on bagels, a first taste(well Jude used to eat sardines on toast as a finger food as a baby, but he doesn't remember that) and they loved it.

Niamh spent the day with her best friend Simone, and when she was dropped off we had a little visit from Simone's mum and the other two children. Ayla seems to adore Jared, and this is just what I mean by her boldness, she is demanding a hug from him, but he is just too overwhelmed, and quickly ran to his mum.
The next day, we had the cousins over. It is nice that they are old enough now to make gingerbread men with us, and we had a lot of fun making them outside for a change.
All the children involved.
Cute Evie.
Sweet Jaden.
I really like these two cheerful gingerbread men.

It is so good to see them enjoying one another's company, and the gingerbread men are so colourful.

Bet they enjoyed eating them.

Lots of love, Nana xxx
