Today was cooler than the day before, but perfect for what we had planned - A day trip on a Steam train stopping off at points along the way.
The children started the morning on the haystack again, and I wanted to catch Ethan and Jude having some fun together but they were not interested in both looking at the camera. One of the nicest things about the holiday was seeing the cousins play so much together, they really enjoy each others company, even across the different ages, Ciara really appreciated Ethan and Julia, Jude enjoyed Julia, and Ethan loved spending time with Eden and Niamh too, it was lovely to see them all getting along so well. And of course Ciara just adores Julia :D

One highlight for Eden and Niamh were all the dogs they met, there were a lot on the campsite, and they always went up to the owners to chat about the dogs, they are learning more and more about the breeds.

The stations were made to look as they did in yesteryear, so lots of little touches here and there.

Quite a staggering sight, the walls were very high, and the castle strategically positioned on a high hill.
Michael made us all laugh with his new found passion for tea drinking. Everywhere we went he pointed out the tearooms, he was desperate to get his English cream tea.

The end of the line was Swanage where we stopped for the longest to have lunch an a stroll on the pier.

Swanage looks so pretty. It must have been fun for the children riding on a steam train. I see you much of Lisa and Barbara in Jude as he is getting older.
